Four members of the Congressional Debate squad traveled to the University of Kentucky in Lexington to compete in the National Tournament of Champions. Jack Stafford, Jonathan Segal, Ben Lipson, and RJ Jain all qualified to this prestigious tournament based on the strength of their performances at other highly competitive tournaments throughout the season. Jack advanced to the final round after placing second in both his prelim chamber and his semifinal chamber. Based on his performance in finals he placed 10th overall out of 128 entries. This is the first time a Cary Academy student has ever reached the final round of the TOC.
