Four Cary Academy students traveled to Chicago over the trimester break to compete in the Glenbrooks tournament, the largest forensics competition hosted by a high school in the United States. Three of the four students advanced to the semifinals of their respective events with Jackson Stafford and Jonathan Segal reachng the semifinals in Student Congress, and Evan Erhardt reaching the semifinals in Program of Oral Interpretation.
67 members of the Cary Academy Speech & Debate team made the short trip to Cary High School on Saturday November 12th to participate in the fourth Dogwood league tournament of the year. CA is four for four at league tournaments this year as once again the team was named the overall sweepstakes champion after an intense day of competition. The follwing individual student placements contributed to the team's victory:

CA won overall team sweepstakes just as it has at the first two Dogwoods of the season with strong showings across a wide range of different events. Individual student placements were as follows:
