DSDL #2 at enloe

The second Dogwood Speech and Debate League tournament of the season was held Saturday October 20th at Enloe High School in Raleigh. 82 members of the Cary Academy speech and debate team made the short trip inside the beltline to compete against students from 20 other schools in their respective events. CA turned in a dominant performance winning first place sweepstakes for the 3rd time this year. The team's effort was led by closeouts of Declamation (top 2), Extemporaneous Speaking (top 2) and Novice LD (top 3); as well as placing first in two out of the three chambers of Congress and second in the third.
