29 members of the Cary Academy Speech participated in the DSDL Novice Championship on Saturday February 29th hosted on Cary Academy's campus. CA had an outstanding showing winning individual championships in five different events and emerging as the overall sweepstakes champion. CA students have now won DSDL Novice Championsips 17 times over the tournament's five year history, including winning Lincoln Douglas Debate for the last four years running. Individual student placements were as follows:
