Cary High School 2013

59 members of the Cary Academy speech and debate ventured around the corner to Cary High School to compete in the second annual Impvitational on Saturday November 9th. The team enjoyed a strong showing placing 3rd place in overall sweepstakes. The following students received awards in their respective events:

Spencer Reed-6th Place, Varsity Congress Chamber 2
Christof Ketchmark-3rd Place, Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate
Jack Maxfield-4th Place, Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate
Grace Jin-5th Place & 1st Place Speaker, Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate
Laura Cabana-3rd Place, Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate
Puj Adusumilli-4th Place, Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate
Carrie Schellenberger-6th Place, Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate
Due to the large size of the debate divisions there were several debaters or teams with 3-1 records who did not place in the top 6 but did receive recognition for honorable mention. These included:
